Germany, Luftwaffe. A Flak Badge, by Gustav Brehmer Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic née Turowski(Flak Kampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a central Flak 88 with its barrel raised and extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked BREHMER, MARKNEUKIRCHEN, measuring 44.
