It was one of the foremost venues for the explosion in dance music that took over the city in the 80s and 90s. This party, at the club's first address on West 27th Street, featured appearances by members of Deee lite and a screening of counterculture icon Terrence McKenna's multimedia project Alien Dreamtime.
