The short sleeved bodice is fitted with vertical and horizontal darts. The slightly A line skirt is gently fitted at the waist, and features two large slash pockets set off with wide self fabric binding. The binding is echoed along the vee neckline, notching at the placket. The dress, as currently structured, does not open at the waist. It would be fairly simple and period correct to
